The lamp has a lighting unit (2), lamp housing (3) and a transparent cover (4), where the transparent cover has a primary portion (41) for emitting light in a primary radiation (71) of the lamp. The primary portion is arranged in a region of a light exit opening of the lamp housing. A secondary portion (42) of the cover is arranged outside the region of the light exit opening. A surface of the cover is arranged facing away from the lighting unit, while another surface is arranged facing the lighting unit. The former surface in the secondary portion has a curved light reflection region.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte, insbesondere Decken- oder Wandleuchte, mit zumindest einem Leuchtmittel, einem Leuchtengehäuse und einer transparenten Abdeckung, wobei die transparente Abdeckung zur Lichtabstrahlung in eine primäre Abstrahlrichtung der Leuchte einen primären Abschnitt, welcher im Bereich der Lichtaustrittsöffnung des Leuchtengehäuses angeordnet ist, aufweist, und wobei die Abdeckung ferner einen sekundären Abschnitt, welcher außerhalb des Bereichs der Lichtaustrittsöffnung angeordnet ist, aufweist, wobei die Abdeckung darüber hinaus eine dem Leuchtmittel abgewandte erste Oberfläche und eine dem Leuchtmittel zugewandte zweite Oberfläche aufweist, wobei die erste Oberfläche in dem sekundären Abschnitt einen Reflektionsbereich aufweist, welcher von dem Leuchtmittel weg gekrümmt oder abgewinkelt ist, wobei der Reflektionsbereich Licht, welches von dem Leuchtmittel durch die zweite Oberfläche auf den Reflektionsbereich auftrifft, total reflektiert und von der primären Abstrahlrichtung weglenkt.
