The plate heat exchanger (1) has two main modules (1a,1b) that are with the passages through which the heat-exchanging media is flowed, and are bounded on the outside by cover plates (5). A rectangular side (9a) of one main module is arranged adjacently to a respective rectangular side (9b) of another main module. The mold portions are fixed on the rectangular sides of the main modules.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Plattenwärmetauscher 1 mit mindestens zwei quaderförmigen Module 1 a, 1 b. Die beiden Module 1 a und 1 b sind quaderförmig und jeweils durch Deckbleche 5 nach außen abgeschlossen. Beide Module 1a und 1 b werden derart angeordnet, dass jeweils gleich große Deckbleche 9a und 9b unmittelbar benachbart sind. Auf den Kontaktflächen werden Profile 20a, 20b angeschweißt, die entweder allein oder mit einem zusätzlichen Formteil 50 eine Bewegung der beiden Module 1a, 1 b senkrecht zu den Kontaktflächen 9a, 9b verhindern.
