[origin: EP2645743A1] The device has an ear part (10) with a set of microphones (12) having a signal processing unit (V) that is arranged to receive a set of microphone signals (M1, M2). The ear part comprises a beam forming device (34) or differential beamformer and a transmitting unit (32), where the beam forming device receives the microphone signals from the signal processing unit. The transmitting unit transmits an output signal (S2) as an electric or electromagnetic signal from the ear part. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a binaural fitting.
