Abstract (en)
The illuminating fabric has a flexible frame (206) including a reflecting thread (404), and an assembly of regular fibers or intersected threads, where some of the fibers are optical fibers (406) intended to be traversed by light rays, so as to diffuse the light rays laterally. The frame includes translucent chain threads (402) and weft threads, where the optical fibers and the reflecting thread are weft threads. The reflecting thread includes a main thread coated with transparent particles such as microballs and micro-prisms. The reflecting thread is Scotchlite (RTM: reflective material). An independent claim is also included for an illuminating registration plate.

Le tissu éclairant comporte une trame (206) qui est souple et comporte un assemblage régulier de fibres ou de fils entrecroisés, dont une partie sont des fibres optiques (406) destinées à être parcourues par des rayons lumineux et à les diffuser latéralement. La trame (206) comporte en outre des fils rétro-réflëchissants (404).
