[origin: EP2647769A1] The head has a milling assembly comprising two side cutter heads (2) and a slicer channel (3) and driven by a hydraulic drive motor (4) that is mounted in a housing, where width of the milling assembly is equal to transverse dimension of the hydraulic drive motor. A transmission gear (5) is placed laterally outside with a casing (3a) of the slicer channel. A rotation axis (4d) of the hydraulic drive motor is arranged parallel to a drive axis (6) of the slicer channel. The transmission gear comprises driving pinions (7-9).
