Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2647903A1] The lens element has linear V-shaped notch (24) provided on side opposite to light entry surface of transparent light-guiding portion (20). The legs of V-shaped notch are located opposite to light entrance surface at an angle such that light from the point light source (10) through light input surface entering the V-shaped leg is totally reflected. The light guide portion is arranged relative to legs of the light exit surfaces (26) at specific angle such that totally reflected light at legs exists light exit surfaces without exit total reflection. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) emergency light module; and (2) lamp.
