[origin: WO2012076077A1] The invention relates to a wind deflector device for an open motor vehicle which has a top (26), in particular for a cabriolet, having a roof frame (12) which supports a wind deflector element (38) which can be adjusted between a retracted position (A) and at least one wind-deflecting position (B), which roof frame is adjoined by a front end (28) of the top (26) when the latter is in its closed state, wherein the wind deflector element (38), when in its retracted position (A), covers the front end (28) of the top (26) which is situated in its closed state.
