[origin: WO2012076592A1] The invention relates to a device (10, 30, 40, 50) which is intended for accommodating notes of value and comprises a basic body (12) and a lid (14) for closing and opening of the basic body (12). A further aspect of the invention relates to a device (60) for indicating opening of a lid (14) which closes an opening of a basic body (12) of a cash cassette (10, 30, 40, 50, 80). Both devices (10, 30, 40, 50, 60) comprise a sensor (16, 64), detecting opening of the lid (14), and a display unit (18). The devices (10, 30, 40, 50, 60) also have a control unit (20) which, at least when the sensor (16, 64) has detected unauthorized opening of the lid (14), activates the display unit (18) such that the display unit (18) displays information regarding the opening of the lid (14).
