[origin: WO2012084576A2] An electric machine (1) has a base body (2) in which a stator (3) of the electric machine (1) is arranged. The electric machine (1) has a rotor shaft (5) which is mounted in the base body (2) in such a way that it can be rotated by means of bearings (6). The electric machine (1) has a tap element (8) which is connected to the base body (2) in a mechanically rotationally fixed fashion and which taps a voltage which occurs in the rotor shaft (5). The tap element (8) is electrically connected to the base body (2) via a capacitor (10) and/or an ohmic resistor (11). A capacitance value (C) of the capacitor (10) is at least 1 nF. A resistance value (R) of the ohmic resistor (11) is between 10 mO and 10 O.
