[origin: EP2649910A1] The method involves attaching a body (2) with apertures (3) on a surface. The body is connected with a suction- and/or blowing unit over pipelines (6) i.e. tube, for introduction and discharge of a substrate. The substrate is introduced into the body over the pipelines by using the suction- and/or blowing unit. The substrate is discharged over the pipelines after settling with mites. The pipelines for separate introduction and discharge of the substrate are led into the body. Light and/or pheromones are used for settling of the substrate. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for removing mites from padded item and bed goods (2) a padded item.
