Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2650414A1] The element (K1) has a set of adjacently situated clothing elements (E1-E3) comprising a base surface (13) placed opposite from toothed clothing (ZG). A mounting bar (H1) comprises lateral faces (F) and a supporting surface (A) on which the base surface of the clothing elements is rested. The clothing elements comprise longitudinal ends that protrude beyond the faces of the mounting bar, and are joined to the mounting bar with a weld seam (P) i.e. laser-welded seam, and applied between the base surface of the protruding ends of the clothing elements and the mounting bar. An independent claim is also included for a circular comb for a combing machine.
