[origin: EP2650423A1] The method involves filling a water tank (6) with rinse water coming from a washing tub (3) during a rinsing phase of a cycle of operation of a laundry washing machine (1). The water tank is filled with the rinse water coming from the washing tub during a part of a drying phase, where the part of the drying phase includes a peak of drying. The filling of the water tank with the rinse water from the washing tub is interrupted before the application of another part of the drying phase, where the latter part of the drying phase includes a stage of drying. An independent claim is also included for a laundry washing machine.
