The paving stone (1) has an opening bead region (5) which is provided between two spacing elements (3) on the circumferential side. The spacing elements face a dirt filter joint (7) on the accessible surface (OS) of the stone, and water storage space (9) on the lower side (US) of the stone so that the dirt filter joint is separated from the water storage space when the spacing elements are contacted with farther stone.

Es wird ein Stein, insbesondere ein Pflasterstein zur Ausbildung eines Bodenbelags vorgeschlagen, der an wenigstens einer Umfangsseite mindestens einen zwischen zwei Abstandselementen (3) angeordneten Sickeröffnungsbereich (5) aufweist. Der Stein (1) zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Abstandselemente (3) auf ihren der begehbaren Oberseite (OS) des Steins (1) zugewandten Seiten eine Schmutzfilterfuge (7) und auf ihren der Unterseite (US) des Steins (1) zugewandten Seiten einen Wasserspeicherraum (9) so begrenzt, dass die Schmutzfilterfuge (7) von dem Wasserspeicherraum (9) getrennt ist, wenn die Abstandselemente (3) mit einem weiteren Stein (1) in Kontakt kommen.
