The fence element has transverse strut, longitudinal strut, and surface element (4). The connecting elements (3a,3c) are provided for connecting longitudinal and transverse struts to the surface element. The stop element is arranged between surface element and the substrate such that the surface element is supported on the stop element at specific position and specific angle to fence element main portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Flächenelement (4) mit Verbindungsmitteln (3a) , die eine Verbindung des Flächenelements (4) mit einem auf oder über einem Boden (10) errichteten Zaunelement (2) derart ermöglichen, dass sich das Flächenelement (4) in einer ersten Position sowohl an dem Zaunelement (2) als auch an dem Boden (10) abstützt und dabei einen ersten Winkel mit dem Zaunelement (2) bildet, welcher größer als Null ist.
