Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2012080514A1] The invention relates to a method for stabilizing and/or raising the pH of bodies of water and/or neutralizing bodies of water. According to the invention, a feed material containing an unburned lime product is used to stabilize and/or raise the pH of bodies of water and/or to neutralize bodies of water, wherein the unburned lime product has a grain size having a fraction < approximately 10 µm of = 50%. With the aid of the proposed method, the pH of bodies of water can be stabilized and/or raised and/or bodies of water can be neutralized in an effective and ecologically harmless manner and at low cost.
