Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012080386A1] The invention relates to a roller shutter (10) for blocking an opening (1), including a set of slats (101, 102...), the ends of which are slidably mounted in two parallel slides (120, 121) extending over two opposite sides of said opening (1), so as to be movable between a closed position of the roller shutter (10), referred to as the first position, in which the slats (101, 102...) are aligned with one another, and an open position of the roller shutter (10), referred to as the second position, in which the slats (101, 102...) are stored inside a casing (11) mounted on a third side of said opening (1). According to the invention, each slat (101, 102...) has an actuating element (50) at at least one of the ends thereof, said actuating element being capable of engaging with a control element (60) that is rigidly connected to one of said slides (120, 121) and movable in at least one direction perpendicular to said slide (120, 121), so as to move said slat (101, 102...) between a maximum blocking position and an intermediate blocking position.
