[origin: WO2012080039A2] The invention relates to a stacked plate heat exchanger (1), comprising a plurality of stacked plates (2), between which the fluid to be cooled and the coolant fluid flow in two independent circuits defined by said plates (2), in alternating layers, all or some of said plates (2) having a rim or rims defining a flow duct for the coolant fluid by engaging with another of said plates which is provided adjacent thereto. According to the invention, said rim or rims are designed to allow the coolant fluid to pass into and/or out of said duct.
