[origin: WO2012080366A1] The invention relates to an outer metal casing (14) for a gas-insulated electrical connection device, including at least two metal tubes (10, 12) assembled end to end via two respective flanges (16, 18) of said tubes which project radially outward, and which are axially spaced apart from one another and attached together by removable connection means (20) arranged radially outside and away from the contact interface (26) between the tubes (10, 12). The casing includes an inner seal (24) passing through said contact interface (26), as well as an outer seal (40) arranged outside said tubes and said interface so as to seal off the latter. The invention further relates to a gas-insulated electrical connection device including such a metal casing (14), and to a method for repairing an outer metal casing (14) of a gas-insulated electrical connection device so as to arrive at the above-described casing.
