[origin: EP2653076A1] The socks remover has an engagement part (2) determined for the engagement in the rear area of a sock, at which a shaft (10) leading to an end-sided handle is connected. The shaft has a flexible shaft area (8) adjacent to the engagement part. The flexible shaft area has a flat cross-section running transverse to the shaft longitudinal direction. The flexible shaft area is corrugated in shaft longitudinal direction.
