[origin: EP2653089A1] The present invention relates to a dishwasher (10) having at least one basket (12), wherein the basket includes a bottom grid (22) and an open top side (24), and wherein the basket (12) is arrangeable in a standard orientation, in which the bottom grid (22) is located below the open top side (24) of the basket (12). According to the invention the dishwasher is characterized in, that the basket (12) is arrangeable in an upside down orientation, in which the open top side (24) of the basket (12) is located below the bottom grid (22).
