Abstract (en)
The handcuff has a handcuff body (1) having a locking unit formed of inclined teeth (22, 41), an opening driving part (5) and a limb presence sensor (7). An unlocking unit is formed of an opening lever (4) and a key hole of the handcuff. Half-bracelet (21) pivots around an axis (100) located within the body. A control unit permits the half-bracelet to move around its axis in order to allow a frontal gripping of a limb to be blocked. The control unit is composed of a clutch pedal (3), a blocking notch (6), a return spring (200) and a trigger type manual closing control.

Menotte composée d'un premier demi-bracelet (21) et d'un second demi-bracelet (11), et au moins un corps de menotte (1) comprenant des moyens de verrouillage (22, 41, 5, 7) et déverrouillage (4, 5, 9) de la menotte, le second demi-bracelet (11) étant solidaire ou non du corps de menotte. Selon une caractéristique principale, le premier demi-bracelet est monté pivotant autour d'un axe (100) situé dans le corps de menotte. La menotte comprend des moyens de commande (3, 6, 200, 24) permettant de mettre le premier demi-bracelet en mouvement autour de son axe de façon à permettre une préhension frontale du membre à entraver
