[origin: WO2012085454A1] The invention relates to an item of clothing comprising at least a part covering a part of the body of a wearer, said covering part having a ventilation slot (8) formed between two transverse edges (9, 10), a first edge (9) being equipped with a means for adjusting its transverse dimension and the second edge (10) being equipped with an insert (13) which is elastically deformable between a flat state and an outwardly curved state in order to open said slot, said insert being arranged so as to be curved by decreasing the transverse dimension of the first edge (9) by way of the adjusting means.
