Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012085186A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve, comprising a housing (1), in which a piston-shaped valve needle (5) is arranged in a longitudinally movable manner, which valve needle is surrounded by a pressure chamber (3) and interacts with a valve seat (8) in order to control a fuel flow from the pressure chamber (3) to at least one injection opening (9). In the housing (1), a storage volume (7) is formed, which is connected to the pressure chamber (3) by means of a damping throttle (12), and additionally a fuel-filled control chamber (16) is formed, which can be connected to a leakage oil chamber (28) by means of a control valve (25) and the pressure of which acts at least indirectly on the valve needle (5) in the direction of the valve seat (8). The storage volume (7) is connected to the control chamber (16) by means of a supply throttle (26).
