[origin: WO2012085482A1] The invention relates in particular to an electronic device equipped with a virtual machine for executing an applet. The virtual machine is arranged so as to recognize the instructions of the applet and to execute a code corresponding to each instruction. The virtual machine comprises an association module arranged so as to associate several distinct but operationally identical codes with one and the same instruction, and a selection module arranged so as to select the code to be executed for said instruction in a random manner. The invention also relates to a method of securing a counter-electronic device against hidden-channel attacks.
