Abstract (en)
The device has a collecting chamber (4) comprising a tubular shaped collecting electrode (16). A collecting device comprises a capillary tube (12), where an end (12.1) of the tube terminates upstream of the electrode in a flow direction of a gaseous flow through the chamber. Another end (12.2) is connected to a liquid tank. Polarization units perform polarization of liquid in the tube so as to make a difference in potential between the liquid at the former end of the tube and the electrode to cause corona discharge and spraying of the liquid by electro spray in the direction of the electrode. An independent claim is also included for a portable collecting system.

Dispositif de collecte de particules dans l'air comportant une chambre de collecte (4), un tube capillaire (12) dont une extrémité (12.1) débouche dans la chambre (4), une électrode de collecte, le tube capillaire (12) contenant du liquide polarisable. Une différence de tension suffisante est appliquée entre le liquide et l'électrode de collecte (16) pour un effet couronne entre la goutte de liquide à l'extrémité du tube capillaire (12) et l'électrode de collecte (12) et la pulvérisation de la goutte (20) par électrospray. La décharge couronne provoque un écoulement de l'air à travers la chambre de collecte (4) et l'électrospray assure le mouillage de électrode de collecte (16).
