Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2657019A2] The tower (4) has a set of print units that is superimposed vertically for offset printing of a continuous material band. Each print unit includes a printing group having a form cylinder such as 6-by-2 cylinder, or plate carrier cylinder, a transfer cylinder and an inking unit comprising a set of inking rollers. A set of levels (36, 38) is arranged in the tower, where each level contains one print unit. The set of levels is located one above the other in which a set of control modules e.g. drive control module (50), of the print unit of the one of the levels is placed at another level. The print units print four colors such as cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
