The closure element (18) has coupling elements (20) objectionable to each other and arranged at a base body such that an elastic band (24) i.e. rubber band, is fastened at the coupling elements and freely gripped between the coupling elements in a portion. The coupling elements are formed by a recess (22) e.g. slot-like recess, and/or a retention bar. The coupling elements are arranged in coupling regions and the base body comprises a connection region between the coupling regions. The coupling regions together with the connection region are arranged in a u-shape. An independent claim is also included for a storage box.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verschlusselement für eine Aufbewahrungsbox sowie eine Aufbewahrungsbox, insbesondere eine platzsparend zusammenklappbare Aufbewahrungsbox aus Pappe. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verschlusselement für eine Aufbewahrungsbox und eine Aufbewahrungsbox zur Verfügung zu stellen, die intuitiv bedienbar sind und eine hohe Lebensdauer aufweisen. Ein erfindungsgemäßes Verschlusselement für eine Aufbewahrungsbox umfasst einen Grundkörper (42), wobei an dem Grundkörper (42) mindestens zwei zueinander beanstandete Kupplungselemente (20) derart angeordnet sind, dass ein elastisches Band (24) an den Kupplungselementen (20) befestigbar und zwischen den Kupplungselementen (20) zumindest in einem Teilbereich frei greifbar anordenbar ist.
