[origin: EP2657162A1] The method involves bringing products (13, 14) to transfer velocity after hanging the products on a transportation unit (2) by servo-propelled sliders (8, 9) based on variable acceleration. The sliders are accelerated from a standstill condition. The products are supplied parallel to another twin-lane transportation unit (1) i.e. rotary feeder, from the former transportation unit, where a finger chain (4) running in a table sheet (3) is utilized as the former transportation unit. The products on the former transportation unit are separated from each other by the sliders. An independent claim is also included for a rotary feeder.
