[origin: EP2657420A2] The compression bearing (1) comprises a load application surface (3) for connection to a building element and an opposing load application surface (5) for connection to another building element. The load application surface and two sliding surfaces (6,7) are provided at a pressure body (2), where the former sliding surface is formed opposite to the load application surface and the latter sliding surface is facing the former sliding surface. The sliding surfaces extend in a transverse direction (Q) extending transverse to a longitudinal direction of the compression bearing. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a building element comprises a compression bearing; and (2) a method for manufacturing a building element.
