[origin: WO2012163641A1] The present invention relates to a signalling apparatus (10) having a first signalling lamp (LED1); a second signalling lamp (LED2); and a control apparatus (12) having at least one information input (E) for coupling to an information source, wherein the control apparatus (12) is designed to actuate the first signalling lamp (LED1) and the second signalling lamp (LED2) on the basis of the signal at the information input (E) in order to set one of four states, wherein in the first state only the first signalling lamp (LED1) is on, in the second state only the second signalling lamp (LED2) is on, in the third state the first signalling lamp (LED1) and the second signalling lamp (LED2 ) are on, wherein in the fourth state the first signalling lamp (LED1) and the second signalling lamp (LED2) are off, wherein the control apparatus (12) is designed to operate the first signalling lamp (LED1) and the second signalling lamp (LED2) in a series circuit in the third state. The invention moreover relates to a sensor apparatus for operating a lighting apparatus having such a signalling apparatus (10).
