Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2012090025A1] The invention describes an electro- luminescent wire (1) comprising at least two conductors (2, 3), having substantially longitudinal extensions, parallel to each other and insulated electrically, the conductors (2, 3) being supplied electrically to generate an electromagnetic field therebetween. A luminescent gelatinous substance (5) covers at least one of the conductors (2, 3) and a transparent plastic film (6) encloses the luminescent gelatinous substance (5) and the conductors (2, 3); the luminescent gelatinous substance (5) emits light in presence of an electromagnetic field generated by the conductors.
