[origin: EP2659815A2] The canister vacuum cleaner (1) has a suction hose (3) that is coupled with a housing portion (2). The housing portion is operated between a suction position and a storage position. The housing portion is provided with a front surface (4), a bottom side (5) and a rear side (7). The rear side is provided as storage side in the storage position. Five storage side contact regions (8a-8e) are provided in the rear side.
