Abstract (en)

The pump has an impeller (10) including a suction port, a sealing surface (14) annularly surrounding the suction port and a bearing on a stationary seal (18). A groove (28) is formed in the sealing surface, and extends beyond a bearing-contact region of the stationary seal on the sealing surface. The groove includes an end (30) in connection with an impeller side chamber and an opposite end (32) in connection with a suction side of the impeller. A surface (34) of the seal is arranged in the impeller side chamber adjacent to the stationary seal for producing turbulences.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schmutzwasserpumpe mit einem Laufrad (10), welches einen Saugmund (12) mit einer diesen ringförmig umgebenden Dichtfläche (14) aufweist, welche an einer stationären Dichtung (18) in Anlage ist, wobei in der Dichtfläche (14) zumindest eine Nut (28) ausgebildet ist, welche sich zu zwei Seiten über einen Anlagebereich der Dichtung (18) an der Dichtfläche (14) hinaus erstreckt und mit einem ersten Ende (30) mit einem Radseitenraum (20) und mit einem zweiten entgegengesetzten Ende (32) mit der Saugseite des Laufrades (10) in Verbindung steht und dass in dem an die Dichtung (18) angrenzenden Radseitenraum (20) Mittel (34) zum Erzeugen von Turbulenzen angeordnet sind.
