[origin: WO2012093045A1] The invention relates to a hair iron (1), in particular a straightener, comprising two arms (2, 3) that are mounted on each other in an articulated manner. It is essential to the invention that at least two opposite, movable ironing elements (4, 4') are provided on the two arms (2, 3), said elements allowing hair (5) to be pulled through the hair iron (1) when the arms (2, 3) are closed in a manner that is at least low-slip, preferably slip-free. A particularly gentle ironing of the hair (5) is thereby possible.
