Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2662216A2] The method involves depositing a liquid marker substance (5) of specific viscosity in an imprint (11) of a pad-die (10) that is marked by an indentation of specific shape, which is complementary to a shape of an existing wall (3) of a to-be decorated part (4), where the substance is ink or enamel. The pad-die is moved toward the part to bring the wall of the part into contact with a bottom of the imprint to deposit a decorative pattern (2) on the wall by transferring the marking substance from the imprint onto the wall. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a decorating machine for decorating a previously-shaped part by a pad-die (2) a pad-die (3) a glass bottle.
