Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2662258A2] The method involves transmitting data related to a state of a main air line (3) by a central unit (5) in a guide vehicle i.e. locomotive, to wagons of a vehicle. Pressure changes in the main air line are detected by pressure sensors and a point of time of measurement of the respective pressure changes are detected. Measurement results of the pressure sensors, timestamps and an identification number unique for each pressure sensor are uni-directionally transmitted by long-distance data transmission to the central unit and displayed at a display unit of an operator display. An independent claim is also included for a device for detecting and evaluating data related to a state of a main air line of a vehicle.
