The drinking device comprises a beverage bottle (12) and a drink-through spout cap (10), said bottle (12) having a body (14) and a neck (16) provided with an opening (17) and a threaded region (42), said bottle (12) being at least partially filled with a beverage. The drink-through spout cap (10) has a spout (36) having at least one aperture (38) formed therein and has a sidewall (34) adapted to engage the threaded region of the neck (16) of the beverage bottle (12). The drinking device optionally further comprises a cover (18) for covering the drink-through spout cap (10) to protect the spout (36). The drinking device is provided with a sealing means preventing the bottle (12) from being emptied of its beverage.
