[origin: WO2012095167A1] A mechanical switchable automotive coolant pump (10) for pumping a coolant to an automotive combustion engine (14) comprises: a stationary pump frame (12) being mountable to an engine block (15) and comprising an axial cylindrical support body (28), a rotatable pump rotor (16) comprising a pump wheel (20), a pump rotor shaft (22) and a pump rotor dutch disk (38), whereby the pump rotor shaft (22) is directly supported by a roller bearing (30) at the support body (2.8), and a rotatable driving rotor (18) comprising a pulley wheel (34) and a driving clutch disk (36), whereby the driving rotor (18) is directly supported by a separate roller bearing (32) at the support body (28), wherein one of the clutch disks (38) is ferromagnetic and axially movable, whereby an electromagnetic clutch actuator (40) is provided to switch the movable clutch disk (38) between an engaged and a disengaged position, the clutch actuator (40) being stiffly mounted at the support body (28), wherein the outer ring (26) of the pump rotor bearing (30) is defined by the inside (28) of the support body and the inner ring (46) of the pulley wheel bearing (32) is directly press fitted onto the outside of the support body (28),
