Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2664720A2] The toilet (1) has ceramic toilet portion (2) that is provided with toilet bowl (10). An annular flange (11) is located on upper rim of the toilet bowl. The annular flange continues circumferentially, and extends horizontally towards the inner portion of toilet bowl. The annular flange serves as border for flushing water introduced via introducing unit (14) located below ceramic toilet tank (3). The ceramic toilet tank is fixedly joined to the toilet bowl by using ceramic bonding. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the free-standing toilet.
