Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2664721A2] The fitting has a draining siphon defining a drain trap and comprising an inlet that is connected to an outlet opening of a drain basin. A channel (1.15) comprises a narrowed flow cross-sectional area with respect to another channel. An average flow cross-sectional area of the former channel amounts to 5%, preferably 10% smaller than an average flow cross-sectional area of the latter channel along a height portion that is equal to 0.5 times of water seal height of the drain trap. An outlet defined by the former channel ends freely in an inserted state of the draining siphon.
