[origin: WO2012098097A2] The invention relates to an insert element (13) for a diesel fuel container, which can be installed in the filling opening (10) of said container, particularly in a filler neck, for the purpose of filling with diesel fuel using a pump nozzle at a petrol station, said insert element (13) having an elongated and substantially tubular retention element (16) that can fit into the container opening and that has an inlet side and an outlet side, an elongated moulded piece (18) being held in, and parallel to, said retention element (16), and the free end-face of said moulded piece, which end-face projects towards the inlet side, having an outer diameter that is smaller than the inner diameter of an outlet pipe (12) of a diesel pump nozzle yet larger than the inner diameter of a petrol pump nozzle outlet pipe. In addition, an actuation element is provided which can be coaxially displaced on the inner wall of the retention element (16) in relation to the filling opening, said actuation element being arranged, in the direction of the container inner side, to remain back behind the end-face of the moulded piece (18) and being capable, as it is displaced in the direction of the inner chamber of the container, of actuating a cover flap arranged on the outlet side of the retention element (16). The invention is characterised in that the cover flap is formed from two flap halves each of which can be pivoted with respect to the longitudinal axis of the retention element, into the inner chamber thereof, and into the open position of the insert element.
