[origin: WO2012097966A1] A rotary distributing arrangement and associated method for operating a rotary distributing arrangement for distributing different media to a number of treatment stations rotating about a vertical axis (RA) for barrel-like containers, in particular kegs, comprising at least one distributing disc (2), having a number of feed openings (2'), and at least one counter-disc (3), which discs are arranged parallel to each other and fixed in place along the vertical axis (RA) and between which there is a control disc (4), which is rotatable about the vertical axis (RA) and has a number of through-openings (4'), wherein, to produce a liquid- and/or gas-tight surface-area connection at least between the distributing disc (2) and the control disc (3), the discs (2, 3, 4) are prestressed with respect to one another by being subjected to a prestressing force (F). Particularly advantageously, the amount of the prestressing force (F) can be set by means of a control arrangement (8), to be precise in such a way that, when the rotary distributing arrangement (1) is first operated once again, the discs are subjected to a reduced prestressing force (F*), of an amount that is reduced in comparison with normal operation.
