Abstract (en)
The device (510') has an upper section comprising a plate for supporting a mattress. A lower section (520') comprises a fixing unit for fixing the device to the plate. The lower section is connected to the upper section by a suspension unit. A modifying unit modifies stiffness of the device. A movable element (540') is moved with respect to the device between two positions to change the stiffness of the device. The movable element is provided with an elastic body that is configured to deform elastically when a moving element is moved from one of the positions to the other position.

Dispositif de suspension (510, 510', 610, 710) pour un sommier ou une assise, comportant : — une section supérieure (512, 612, 712) munie d'un plateau (514, 614, 714) apte à soutenir un matelas ; — une section inférieure (520, 520', 620, 720) comprenant des moyens permettant la fixation du dispositif de suspension au sommier, ladite section inférieure étant reliée à la section supérieure par des moyens de suspension (630, 730) ; — des moyens pour modifier la raideur du dispositif de suspension, comportant un organe mobile (540, 540', 640, 740) par rapport au dispositif de suspension de manière à pouvoir être déplacé au moins entre une première position et une deuxième position pour modifier la raideur du dispositif de suspension. L'organe mobile (540, 540', 640, 740) est muni d'au moins un premier corps élastique qui est configuré pour se déformer élastiquement lorsque l'organe mobile est amené d'une position à l'autre.
