Abstract (en)
The present invention provides a rotary cutting blade comprising a reinforcing flange [20, 25] concentrically attached to at least one side [6, 11] thereof, the provision of the, or each, reinforcing flange [20, 25] reducing vibrations transferred to the power tool during use thus improving safety for the operator and reducing noise levels. One embodiment of the invention includes one or more layers of vibration dampening material [35, 40] between the reinforcing flange [20, 25] and the blade. Another embodiment of the invention includes vibration dampening material [55] between the blade and a spindle [60] of a power tool.
