Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2666593A1] The device has a toothed wheel (11) for driving an internal combustion engine. An indexing unit (2) allows movements of the toothed wheel from a position with respect to a pump body. The indexing unit comprises an internal format stopper that is provided with a tooth (23) gearing with the toothed wheel to block the toothed wheel in rotation with respect to the indexing unit. The toothed wheel comprises a mark with respect to a reference mark (22) of the indexing unit. The indexing unit comprises a fixing unit for fixing the indexing unit on the pump body. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a fuel pump on an internal combustion engine.
