Abstract (en)
The film (F) has an adhesive layer (TPU) provided on a carrier layer (PE). A metal layer (Al) is provided on the adhesive layer. A covering layer (PET) is provided on the metal layer. The adhesive layer is made of thermoplastic polyurethane. The carrier layer is made of polyethylene. The metal layer is made of aluminum and exhibits 0.4-1 micrometer deep, in particular 0.5 to 0.8 micrometer. The adhesive layer exhibits 10-30 micrometer deep, in particular 15 to 25 micrometer. A decorative layer (D) is provided on the adhesive layer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for applying a metal layer on a workpiece (2) a method for applying a decorative layer on a workpiece (3) a method for producing a multilayer film.

Eine mehrlagige Folie (F) enthält eine Metallschicht (Al) oder eine Dekorschicht (D) sowie eine Trägerschicht (PE) und eine Kleberschicht (TPU). Es werden Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Folie beschrieben und Verfahren zum Aufbringen einer solchen Folie auf ein Werkstück.
