[origin: EP2666934A1] The method involves placing a raising post (21) by depression in an existing fence post (1), where the raising post has a tubular section with cross section that is complementary to that of the post. The post is equipped with a latch (22) allowing the fixation of threads (36) of netting to raise an existing fence (34) and with another latch (24) abutted against an upper end edge (20) of the existing post to prevent the raising post from descending inside the existing post. The raising post is inserted into the existing fence post until the raising post is suddenly butted against existing post. An independent claim is also included for a raising post to implement a method for raising a stretched semi-rigid existing fence.
