[origin: EP2667126A2] The apparatus has a base region (30) provided with a component of a refrigerant circuit, and a fan provided in the base region for producing an air flow, where the base region is provided with a front cover and a rear cover. The fan is arranged such that the air flow is produced through the front cover and/or the rear cover, where multiple components such as refrigerant valves and/or water valves, of the apparatus are fixable in the base region, and a labyrinth is arranged in the base region for sound absorption. The front and rear covers are made of a metal sheet, or plastic, or cardboard.
