Abstract (en)
The plug has a modularly constructed base module comprising a cable connection and plug contacts. Add-on modules comprise plug contacts, and are constructed to be mechanically and electrically connected with the base module, where total number of the add-on modules depends on a desired total number of contacts. A cable relief is inserted in a base shell (1), and a printed circuit board carrying the plug contacts is inserted between the base shell and a cover. The printed circuit board is secured in place when the base shell and the cover are joined.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen variierbaren Stecker eines Steckverbinders. Der Stecker ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dieser in Modulbauweise aus einem Grundmodul mit Kabelanschluss und Steckkontakten besteht und dass je nach gewünschter Gesamtpolzahl des Steckers ein oder mehrere mit Steckkontakten versehene(s) Zusatzmodul (3) mechanisch und elektrisch mit dem Grundmodul verbindbar ist/sind.
