Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2012095352A2] The combination ski comprises a riding and walking body (100) and a binding (200), which connects the shoe (300) to the device in a pivoting manner by means of the axis (108). The riding and walking body (100) has a main running surface (110), to which a partial running surface (120) is foldably connected about an axis (122) perpendicular to the longitudinal center line of the device. The different regions and sides of the main running surface (110) and of the partial running surface (120) are in such a condition or are coated in such a way that the device can be used for riding and sliding when the partial running surface (120) is folded forward and can be used for walking and climbing when the partial running surface (120) is folded back. The snow sporting device according to the invention can be easily and quickly switched from riding to climbing or vice versa without installing and removing additional parts. The combination ski can be implemented as a double-deck design, in that the combination ski has a sliding surface, which is formed by a lower deck as the only contact surface for sliding and climbing on hard snow, and from which sliding surface plank-like elevations laterally project above said sliding surface on both sides. With the outer edge areas of said elevations, the elevations then form an upper deck in order to increase the lift during riding in deep snow. The edges of the upper deck act as soft-snow edges.
